1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using VocaApp (accessible at vocaapp.online), you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. These terms apply to all users, including guests and registered members.

2. Description of Service

VocaApp is a personal vocabulary training platform for Hebrew-English learners. The service includes flashcards, quizzes, games, AI-generated stories, listening exercises, and live video chat (VUAC Talk). Some features require a paid subscription.

3. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when registering.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password.
• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. VUAC Talk requires users to be 18+.
• You may not share, sell, or transfer your account to another person.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service or its systems.
• Upload, transmit, or share any content that is harmful, offensive, or violates the rights of others.
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access or interact with the service.
• Reproduce, distribute, or modify any content from the service without permission.
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the service or servers.

5. Payments & Subscriptions

Certain features of VocaApp are available only through a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis. You may cancel at any time.

We reserve the right to change subscription prices with at least 30 days' notice. Continued use of the service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

5a. No Refund Policy

All payments are final and non-refundable. Once a subscription or one-time payment is processed, no refunds will be issued — including for unused portions of a subscription period, accidental purchases, or dissatisfaction with the service. By completing a payment you acknowledge and agree to this no-refund policy.

Exceptions apply only where required by applicable law.

6. Free Trial

New users may be offered a free trial period for premium features. The trial period begins at first use and expires after the stated time. Only one free trial is available per user. After the trial ends, a paid subscription is required to continue using premium features.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on VocaApp — including text, graphics, logos, software, and the vocabulary database — is the property of VocaApp or its licensors, protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works without express written permission.

Vocabulary content you personally add to your account remains your own. By adding content, you grant VocaApp a license to store and display it to you within the service.

8. VUAC Talk — Live Video Chat

VUAC Talk connects users via peer-to-peer video chat. By using VUAC Talk, you also agree to the Community Guidelines. Key rules include:

• You must be 18 years of age or older to use VUAC Talk.
• No harassment, hate speech, sexual content, or inappropriate behavior.
• Conversations are not recorded by VocaApp, but users assume responsibility for their own conduct.
• Violations may result in immediate account suspension.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

VocaApp is provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied. We do not guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that defects will be corrected. We disclaim all warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VocaApp shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use or inability to use the service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify registered users of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Your continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
